Productivity in the manufacturing of resin, rubber, emulsion, and latex can be improved considerably by controlling foam generation during the polymerization and monomer stripping processes. In particular, the defoamers used for monomer stripping help to shorten the stripping time due to their excellent water dispersion properties. Such excellent defoaming properties at high temperature help in the dissolution of water-soluble polymers.
